The hills are alive with "The Sound of Music" trailer!
NBC has released the first promo for their upcoming live version of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, starring Carrie Underwood as Maria and Stephen Moyer as Capt. Georg Von Trapp.
Since the three-hour holiday production is going to be live, there's no footage from the final product, but the video captures the stars during rehearsals.
Fans get their first glimpse of Underwood singing two iconic songs, including "My Favorite Things" and "The Sound of Music." Viewers also get a preview of Stephen Moyer's fancy footwork and "Private Practice" star Audra McDonald in full nun attire.
