Jordin Sparks is ready to ring in the New Year ... but will she be doing it with a ring on that finger too?
The singer just teamed up with Glade to release the new holiday song "This Is My Wish," with the company also donating $150,000 to Toys for Tots on behalf of Jordin and fans who share the music video.
To help promote the cause, toofab talked to the "American Idol" winner about recording the tune, how she and boyfriend Jason Derulo will celebrate the holidays ... and if she's expecting an engagement ring under the tree this year!
toofab: What's it like to see a song you recorded for Glade get such a positive reception — leading to a great Toys for Tots initiative?
It's a great feeling because I love all things holiday, so to have the song receive so much love is so fun! Also, I love kids and anything I can do to make them smile this holiday, I'm all for it.
toofab: What's one of your favorite holiday tunes? We have a feeling you used to belt out Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas" around the house growing up.
I did sing that at the top of my lungs! But my favorite songs are "Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)" by Mariah and "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole.
toofab: What's one of your favorite holiday memories from your childhood?
Putting the star on top of the tree was a big deal to me growing up. When you're small, it's such a huge feat!
toofab: What's your wish for the holidays this year?
My wish is that everyone in my family remains in the positive and happy places they are now!
toofab: Now, we've heard Internet rumors that Jason will propose soon — how would you feel about a Christmas proposal?
Ha! We are in such a good place right now. That would be beautiful, but I'll be happy and in tears no matter when it happens.
toofab: How will you guys be celebrating the holidays this year? Any big getaways planned? Or do you two have any new traditions?
Jason is gonna come celebrate with me and my family this year!
toofab: Any hints on what Jason will get from you this year? We won't tell!

What do you think about Randy Jackson becoming a mentor on "Idol" this season? Will you be watching?
I love Randy, so I'm glad he's gonna be involved this year! I will try to watch, my schedule is so crazy, so sometimes I miss it. Thank God for DVR!
Have you thought of a New Year's Resolution yet?
Not yet, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be to get an amazing album out!
