This unlikely duet is music to our ears!
Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and Robin Thicke have come together for a special collaboration on the "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" soundtrack. The dynamic duo covered Christopher Cross' 1980's hit "Ride Like the Wind," with each star providing different skills to the track.
The "Blurred Lines" singer takes the lead for most of the song, but Burgundy complements his verses with grunts and quirky comments. When Thicke sings "I was born the son of a lawless man," Burgundy asks, "You mean Alan Thicke?"
Plus, the Anchorman kicks off the song with a unique introduction: "Mr. Robin Thicke...any minute now...alright...here we go...take it away," and clarifies, "You're riding like the wind, for those who don't know."
Ron also adds a twist to the original with his spoken bridge.
"That's right, folks, when Ron Burgundy rides, he rides like the wind. Not like a Subaru or a golf cart. Like the goddarn wind! Powerful and slick and invisible."
