Lady Gaga is known for her eclectic style, and her New York City apartment is no exception!
As part of her MTV Takeover on Friday, Mother Monster invited MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway into the $22,000 a month digs, that was once the home of Liza Minneli and Tony Bennett.
Walking into the penthouse is like entering a rainforest, complete with leaf-covered walls and what appears to be turf on the floor.
The "ARTPOP" singer was in costume (obviously), rocking a full floral dress and white gloves. She invited Sway to sip tea and see the spectacular view from her private balcony, the only outdoor space she has away from screaming fans and paparazzi.
"The most important thing to me about this place is I can come out here and stand outside. That's the best thing. I miss going outside," she explained, saying she often has to go outside in disguise. "Such is life, I'm blessed in many ways."
Gaga also showed off one of the many gifts she gets from her Little Monsters -- a gold-plated rose from her "sweet" fan Sam, who often waits outside her hotel to give her gifts.
