The "Bangerz" singer took to Twitter Friday to share her excitement over her new furry friend, writing, "My mama knew my heart was broken & this morning I woke up to Moonie kisses."
She also shared a pic of the adorable puppy, that appears to be a tiny brown and white Pomeranian with black markings.
"No one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lendin me some fur to cry on, along with my other babies," she tweeted. "Can't wait to introduce Bean and Happy to Moonie. Currently soakin up some Moonie & Mary Jane.... so many emotions I am exhausted."
During her concert in Boston on Wednesday, the 21-year-old pop star dedicated the song, "Landslide," to her late pet.
"My dog who is, I shouldn't say he was my favorite, but he was my favorite, he passed away," she told the crowd. "I just wanted to do this song for him because we used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together and this was his favorite song."
Miley was visibly upset during the performance, starting to cry in the middle of the song. Her sister Noah even came onstage to comfort Cyrus, giving her a hug and moral support while she sang.
