The red carpet at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday night was better than some of recent award shows this year!
Hollywood's A-list mingled with D.C. hotshots at the annual event, where Jessica Simpson looked gorgeous in a black and white floral gown. The singer showed off her recent weight loss by going strapless to the event, keeping her hair swept to the side. Simpson showed up with fiance Eric Johnson -- it's only a matter of time now until they tie the knot, right?
Award season darling Lupita Nyong'o stunned as well in a black and white polka-dotted Oscar de la Renta peplum dress. She added a fresh pop of color by sporting a bright pink lip. Gorge!
And Sofia Vergara kept it sexy and simple, which is exactly what she does best. The "Modern Family" star shimmered in a gold and cream creation that clung to her hourglass figure.
Other big stars at the event included Sofia's costars Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, as well as Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Taylor Schilling, Diane Lane, Kristen Bell, Katie Couric and, most random of all, Michelle Branch.
