Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have officially broken up after 2 1/2 years together. Sources tell TMZ, that the couple have simply just grown apart.
The "First Love" singer and the 27-year-old backup dancer first hooked up four months after Lopez split from ex-husband Marc Anthony in 2011, and the two quickly turned into an item.
Casper and Jennifer started the breakup process two months ago, and sources close to the couple say the pair have remained good friends despite the split.
The 44-year-old still believes in love, though. While promoting "American Idol" the singer told reporters, "My parents were married for a very long time, for 35 years. I believe in it...I've had my challenges, but at the same time, I believe in love. That's the main thing," she said at the time.
