Looks like Steven Bauer officially has the seal of approval from a very important person in his 18-year-old girlfriend's life: Her mom.
The "Ray Donovan" star -- who is also known for his role in "Scarface" -- stepped out to dinner at Craig's in Los Angeles on Wednesday with his much younger GF Lyda Loudon (center) and his love's mama, Dr. Gina Loudon (left).
Despite their 39-year age gap, the couple looked happier than ever as they posed for paparazzi outside the restaurant with one of the girl's parents. The group was joined by Gina's conservative web show cohost Ann-Marie Murrell (right) and an unidentifiable male friend.
This is the first time we've seen the 57-year-old actor out with his girlfriend's family, though Gina wrote a lengthy blog post about him in the past.
In a blog from July, when the first photos of them as a couple surfaced, Dr. Gina Loudon, describes her own reaction to learning who her daughter was dating ... and how she eventually came to accept their relationship.
"I became aware of the relationship, the range of emotions for me was strange and still is, but I can tell you one thing: We love our daughter," she says.
"My husband was devastated," Gina continues. "He questioned his own parenting, and I questioned mine. What had we done to our precious daughter to make her think such a decision was wise?"
"I told myself, there are worse things. She could be an addict or a bad person," Loudon continues -- adding that her daughter is "committed to waiting until she is married to have sex."
After briefly cutting her daughter off, Gina says they eventually came around to know Bauer -- and, clearly, she seems comfortable with the situation now.
Fun fact: The actor's son with ex-wife Melanie Griffith, Alexander, is 29, while his son Dylan is also in his mid-20s.
