We just got our first look at Lifetime's newest biopic, "Whitney Houston," with "America's Next Top Model" star YaYa DaCosta Alafia portraying the late troubled singer.

The Lifetime flick will also be Angela Bassett's directorial debut -- and the movie promises lots of major moments from the "I Will Always Love You" singer's incredible life.
Yes, we will see Houston's best moments and her inevitable fall from grace ... along with Whitney's widely-known struggles with substance abuse.
But will this be another trainwreck like recent biopics for Aaliyah and Brittany Murphy?
