Now this is a look Lady Gaga should rock more often!
While she's toned down on the meat dresses and over-the-top couture, it's still rare to see the pop star in her natural element. But on Friday, the 28-year-old looked almost unrecognizable as she stepped out without any wigs on and sporting a dress one would even consider "normal."
The "Born This Way" singer put what looked like her natural hair on display, trading in the fake blonde locks she loves oh-so-much for a short, jet black 'do.
She paired her flattering follicles with some killer eye makeup, a fur jacket and a silk dress.
The sighting comes after it was announced Gaga will be performing at this year's Academy Awards.
"Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist who's musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time,” Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement earlier this week.
It's unclear what exactly she'll be performing, but as she's popping her Academy Award cherry, it should be interesting.
Adam Levine, Tim McGraw, John Legend and Common, Rita Ora, Tegan and Sara with the Lonely Island, Jack Black, Jennifer Hudson and Anna Kendrick are all scheduled to performing at the Oscars this year as well.
