Dakota Johnson stepped out on Wednesday and something was very different about the star -- her hair! The 25-year-old was spotted leaving an NYC salon with a noticeably shorter new do'.
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" star sported a choppy lob that just barely grazed her shoulders. The cropped hairstyle still featured her Anastasia Steele bangs and even a hint of texture.
Inspired by the chic new hairstyle, Dakota kept the rest of her look equally as cool with a pair of Sunday Somewhere's Ned sunglasses and a crisp grey houndstooth coat.
Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson's daughter just recently debuted a hair change last month when she attended the Chanel Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Metiers d'Art Collection. The naturally blonde star darkened up her locks to a rich chocolate hue.
The actress isn't the first Hollywood starlet to take the trendy lob hairstyle for a test drive. She joins stars like Kim Kardashian, Lauren Conrad and Sarah Hyland, who all have sported the chic coiffe!
