Rita Wilson is a true survivor!
The actress dazzled on the red carpet at the 2015 Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday, less than two months after under undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery for breast cancer.
Donning a fitted black Tom Ford dress with a halter neckline and cutouts along the collarbone, the 58-year-old star looked gorgeous as she posed for pictures. She completed her elegant ensemble with drop earrings, peep-toe black heels and a sleek updo.
Joining her as her date for the evening was stepson Colin Hanks, stepping in for hubby Tom Hanks.
She took to Twitter to share a snapshot with the handsome young actor, writing "@ColinHanks, my son, and I @TheTonyAwards. Just sat down! Great seats!"
Wilson revealed her diagnosis back in April, thanking her friends and family for their support.
"Hard times reveals true friends. I feel blessed to have a loving, supportive husband, family, friends and doctors and that I am the beneficiary of advances in the field of breast cancer and reconstruction," she shared at the time. "I am getting better every day and look forward to renewed health. I hope this will encourage others to get a second opinion and to trust their instincts if something doesn't 'feel' right."
