The singer opened up about her adorable son Future, her blossoming relationship with Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson and shared some of her fitness secrets while promoting her new campaign with Unilever, a program aimed at ending childhood hunger.
The gorgeous pop star and her ex-fiancé, Future, welcomed the adorable tot back in May 2014 -- and her little boy has really transformed her world.
When asked about the best part of being a mom, Ciara couldn't help cut gush about her 1-year-old cutie and the positive impact he's had on her life.
"You know the best part of being a mom is getting that love. Honestly, you know, my son's love ... a child's love is so pure, it just makes you feel so good no matter what. And that's so exciting, and I love also talking with him, I love paying attention to what he likes and what he doesn't like. It's just super fun. Every day is a new adventure and a new journey," she told toofab's Brittany Kyles.
"Also, my son has helped me to grow tremendously ," she added. "It's the coolest experience ever."
Future is also at that age where every day feels like a brand new experience -- and he's already started to take after his famous mama.
"He's in the parrot stage so he repeats everything," she said. "Like the other day I said, 'Aw man,' and he was like 'Aw man,' and I was like 'Oh my goodness,' and he was like 'Oh my goodness.' You know, moments like that I live for. He's definitely starting to talk a lot more."
The 30-year-old also made headlines earlier this week, after sharing a few photos from her Mexico getaway with Wilson. The pair looked picture-perfect as they soaked in the sun together.
"Things are obviously very sunny," she said with a laugh, when asked about her relationship. "You know, everything is awesome. We're going one day at a time with everything. But everything is pretty awesome and I can't complain."
Aside from her adorable son and her handsome beau, Ciara also has one of the best bods in the biz. So how does she stay in such great shape?
"You know what, it's just about balance. I love eating good food," she confessed. "But when I start training I get very serious and focused about it. I probably train 4-5 days a week and I eat probably eat 5-8 small meals a day to keep my metabolism going. It's just ultimately about balance though and tons of water: Water, water, water!"
The "Body Party" singer is also using her fame for a great cause -- she's teamed up with Unilever to help end childhood hunger and she wants you to get involved!
"Being a mom, I am even more inspired to really help make a difference. I can't imagine what it would be like if my child didn't have a meal to eat," she said of her new campaign. "In this case, which is also very unique and special, is that not only am I an ambassador, but even you, everyone in the world and even in America can be an ambassador for this campaign by simply using social media."
"Let's turn it around and use it for a great cause, by simply hashtagging '#ShareAMeal' on Twitter or Instagram [and] posting a picture of you holding a plate. And every time you do that, Unilever is going to donate a meal to feeding America," she explained.
