The tennis star was the guest of honor at Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year event on Tuesday night in NYC.
The 34-year-old athlete wowed in a lingerie-inspired gown featuring a bra top, high-waisted undergarments, a sheer slip and a high-waisted long skirt. The star kept the styling minimal with an effortless wavy lob, black pumps and a red lip.
Serena's sisters Venus Williams, Lyndrea Price and Isha Price were all on hand to support the star, along with mom Oracene Price.

Serena's gorgeous Sports Illustrated cover was unveiled on Monday, with the mag sharing the shot on their Instagram page. The athlete also posted the news on Instagram, with a candid caption about how honored she was to receive the title .
"This year was spectacular for me. For @SportsIllustrated to recognize my hard work, my dedication, and my sheer determination gives me hope to continue on and do better. As I always say, it takes a village it's not just one person. This is not just an accomplishment for me, but for my whole team. I am beyond honored. I love you guys! 2016? #letsdoit," she said of the pic.
However, SI has come under fire for reportedly photoshopping the star's legs on the cover. The publication has denied altering Serena's image in any way and added that the cover concept was the star's idea.
"I liked the idea of the throne," she told USA TODAY Sports of the SI shot. "I said, 'Listen, this needs to be something that no one forgets, something iconic! I wanted it to be really special... really Serena.' When we went with that, I loved it."
