Looks like we weren't the only ones who didn't love Whitney Port's Golden Globes after-party look!
The reality star showed up to the red carpet for InStyle's Golden Globes post-party on Sunday night in a risque black fishnet Michael Costello gown that left "The Hills" alum totally exposed, Port sporting just a tiny bodysuit underneath. The blonde beauty kept her hair in a slicked-back ponytail and finished the look with diamond earrings and a white clutch.
The 30-year-old fashionista usually nails her red carpet looks, but this ensemble was a big risk we weren't feeling. During the FabFitFun Winter Tea on Wednesday, Whitney spoke to Daily Mail.com and revealed that the daring outfit choice was a last minute decision that her hubby Tim Rosenman was not a fan of!
'I put it on literally five minutes before we were leaving and my husband was like,'You cannot go out in that!" she said. "I'm like, 'I'm leaving in five minutes I have no choice', so I felt 'oh god am I making the right decision?' But then the red carpet came and I had a glass of champagne and I just owned it."
The fashion designer rocked the look with confidence, leading her producer husband to come around a little bit.
"I mean he was definitely like, 'You look beautiful', but I think he was sick of guys staring at my ass, like any husband would be."
At the end of the day Whitney says she loved the look and is happy that she decided to be bold.
"I think for us in our lives it is important for us to take risks and not always go by the book and do what we always do," she added. "And I think you can find confidence in doing that and stepping out of your comfort zone."
