When Lady Gaga hit the stage last night to perform a tribute to the late, great David Bowie, it was met with huge praise from the audience and most fans watching at home. But there's at least one person who wasn't a fan: David's own son.
Hitting the stage sporting a shorter version of that Bowie-inspired 'do and a bedazzled white suit, Gaga rocked her way through the legendary performer's catalogue, performing "Space Oddity," "Changes," "Rebel Rebel," "Fashion," "Fame," "Let's Dance," and, finally, "Heroes."
She got a standing ovation from the crowd at Staples Center, but Bowie's son, Duncan Jones, didn't have the same reaction. Jones is Bowie's 44-year-old son with former model Angie Bowie.
"overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused." Damn it! What IS that word!?
"Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused." Damn it! What IS that word!?" Jones posted, referencing the Oxford Dictionary definition of the word "gaga."
He didn't follow up the tweet with anything else about the Grammys or the performance, but the message was posted immediately following Gaga's performance.
It's no secret Gaga was infatuated with the late singer.
On Saturday, the 29-year-old celebrated her upcoming performance by getting a large tattoo of Bowie on her side by celebrity tattoo artist Mark Mahoney.
