Mindy Kaling knows how to keep it real!
Getting ready for the red carpet is a serious task and "The Mindy Project" star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a behind the scenes look as she got ready to attend the Costume Designers Guild Awards.
"Awards Show prep. America's sweetheart," she captioned the photo.
In the pic, the 36-year-old swipes on some deodorant as she proudly rocks a corset and Spanx while getting ready in her trailer!
Later that evening, Mindy showed off the finished product when she appeared on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton, looking absolutely flawless in a gorgeous coral gown.
The funny-lady rocked a custom-designed dress by Salvador Perez, featuring a sweetheart neckline and crystal embellishments on the bodice. She styled her brown locks in a bouffant and finished the look with flawless makeup, Neil Lane jewels and a sparkly clutch.
