No after party dress? No problem!
Karlie Kloss transformed the stunning floor-length Brandon Maxwell gown that she wore to the Met Gala on Monday night into a sexy cutout mini -- with the help of the designer himself.
The model took to Instagram to document the last-minute style session as Maxwell chopped off the bottom of the dress.
"Soooo… instead of changing into a #MetGala Afterparty dress, @BrandonMaxwell cut my gown into mini," Kloss captioned the clip. "We're drinking and we're cutting," Maxwell said with Karlie adding, "This is a bad idea."
The fashion risk paid off -- Taylor Swift's BFF looked gorgeous as she headed to a post-party. She even swapped out her shoes, choosing a black strappy sandal to compliment her white and black clutch.
Kloss and Maxwell proved to be a dream team, but it was actually Karlie's stylist, Karla Welch, who introduced the pair.
"Brandon's interesting because he cuts on the body," Welch told Vanity Fair. "We just started getting pictures [from Maxwell], and Karlie went in, and he put it on the body, and he literally just took the scissors to it."
"There's something really good about the next generation," she said, referring to the new crop of young designers.
Welch also styled Lorde, Olivia Wilde and Michelle Monaghan for the Met gala -- check out their gorgeous gowns in the gallery above!
