Adele was overcome with emotion on Sunday night during a concert in Antwerp, as she paused for a moment to remember those killed in Orlando over the weekend.
"I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando at Pulse nightclub," the singer told the Belgium crowd. "The LGBTQA community, they're like my soulmates since I was really young, so I'm really moved by it."
She then got visibly choked up, fighting back tears before continuing with a joke to lighten the mood.
"I don't know why I'm crying already because most of this tonight is pretty miserable because my songs are f---ing miserable," she added with a laugh, before launching into one of her "two songs that sound happy, but they're not."
"If you would like to dance, join me now," she continued, as "Rumor Has It" began to play.
