"Saturday Night Live" returned with a vengeance last night, with a cold open spoof of last week's Presidential debates.
In one corner: Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton. The other: Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump.
It kicked off with Hillary pulling a Willy Wonka, walking out coughing with a cane before throwing it off to the side and doing a roll. Meanwhile, Trump opened the debate saying, "I'm going to be so calm and presidential that all you watching are going to cream your jeans.
As Trump, Baldwin nailed the Republican candidate's facial expressions and unique pronunciation of words like "huge" and "China." McKinnon also nailed her Hillary impression, right down to the shoulder shimmy.
The political sketches kept coming throughout the night, as Team Donald and Team Hillary later faced off on a special episode of "Family Feud."
On Team Trump: Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon), Ivanka Trump (host Margot Robbie), Chris Christie (Bobby Moynihan) and Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett). Team Clinton: Bill Clinton (Darrell Hammond), Sarah Silverman (newcomer Melissa VillaseƱor), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Cecily Strong) and Bernie Sanders (Larry David).
David's Sanders was, as always, a standout ... while Margot's Ivanka shared a hilarious moment with Hammond's Bill.
Later in the show, Strong starred as Melania Trump in a quick sketch called "Melania Moments."
