The Academy of Motion Picture Arts will announce the nominations for The 89th Academy Awards live at 5:18am PT on Tuesday, January 24.
The stream above will feature video announcements from former Oscar winners Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Ken Watanabe, Jason Reitman and more. This is the first time the nominations won't be presented at an early morning press conference, rather by various videos from members of the Academy.
Early predictions for Best Picture include "La La Land," "Fences," "Manchester by the Sea," "Lion," "Moonlight" and "Jackie." "Deadpool," "Arrival," and "Hacksaw Ridge" are also in consideration for the award show's highest honor.
Best Actress nominee predictions include Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Ruth Negga and Natalie Portman, while the male category will likely highlight Casey Affleck, Joel Edgerton, Ryan Gosling and Denzel Washington for their work in this year's top films.
