Nicki Minaj got "#GiuseppeWhatsGood" trending Friday morning after going on a Twitter rant about luxury shoe brand Guiseppe Zanotti for using her name for one of their sneakers.
In an Instagram post showing a Google search for 'Nicki sneakers,' Minaj gave Giuseppe Zanotti PR a piece of her mind. "Dear @giuseppezanottidesign #RunMeMyCHECK your PR must've fell & bumped their head when they told my agency they weren't discussing anything with us," she captioned the photo. "I'm giving you 24 hours. 😊 #GiuseppeWhatsGood 23 pairs of sneakers in my collection & they won't take a call?"

The rapper continued to go off on Twitter, alleging Giuseppe Zanotti himself once told her he was "inspired" by Minaj to create a pair of shoes, which she later wore on the cover of Cosmopolitan. While the brand has collaborated with stars like Jennifer Lopez and Zayn in the past, Minaj said requests to do the same with her were denied.
This is wonderful. #GiuseppeZanotti seems to think it's ok to name his sneakers after me but his PR says they won't take our call. Lol.
