"I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off," she told the magazine.
"I need to get on it. I want a child. Badly," Seyfried said. "I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years. I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything."
A new baby girl isn't the only thing that's changed in Seyfried's life, as she and her brand-new husband Thomas Sadoski eloped in a secret wedding ceremony on Mar. 12.
"We eloped," Sadoski said during an appearance with James Corden on "The Late Late Show" last week. "We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing. We had a great day. It was perfect."
Sadoski told Corden that the couple wrote their own vows and that the ceremony was "beautiful."
"She's the person I love, admire, respect most in the world," he said. "It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other."
