A new “Transformers: The Last Knight” trailer dropped Wednesday morning, and it shows a lot more of Optimus Prime back in action, plus more history of the Autobots 1000-year-old alliance with humanity.

Turns out they were pretty tight with us in the Middle Ages, but things are taking a dark turn as the preview for the Paramount release shows Prime delivering some really bad news: "For my world to live, yours must die."

There is some good news, though. Previous teaser trailers hinted at Prime impaling Bumblebee with his sword, but this glimpse at the summer blockbuster reveals he just misses amidst the chaos of the battle.

However, things still don't look too good for the fan-favorite Autobot, who appears to be on his last leg, even if his old friend Prime shows mercy.

The fifth film in the popular franchise that shows no signs of slowing down stars Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock and Isabela Moner. Michael Bay returned to direct.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” hits theaters June 23.
