Caitlyn Jenner was very transparent with Diane Sawyer during a "20/20" interview that aired on Friday night commemorating the second anniversary of coming out as transgender.
Jenner revealed what her children really thought of her first Vanity Fair cover -- which was captioned "Call Me Cait" and revealed Jenner's look after transitioning -- and what her motivations behind the photo shoot were.
"My feeling on that picture, I know, my kids that thought, 'You know what? It's a little too much,'" Jenner said.
"But from my standpoint, I had suffered for 65 years, OK? To have a beautiful shot of my authentic self was important," she added.
Jenner revealed that it was her final farewell to Bruce, and it was the photo shoot with Vanity Fair that sealed the deal. "I wanted to end the old Bruce, my old life," she said. "And that picture did it.”
