Princess of Pop Britney Spears was presented the first-ever Icon Award at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday night, where Jamie Lynn Spears surprised her sis for the big moment.
It was a full circle moment for Britney, who got her start with the Mouse House as a Mouseketeer on 'The Mickey Mouse Club' alongside superstars Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling and Christina Aguilera. 23 years later, the pop star was honored by Disney as being “a distinguished artist whose career transcends popular culture and whose music is loved by generations of Radio Disney fans.”
Dressed in iconic Britney looks, Hailee Steinfeld, along with hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Sofia Carson, performed a medley of Brit Brit's smash hits, including “Baby One More Time” and “Circus.” Jamie Lynn Spears joined the trio to close out the performance with “'Til the World Ends” before presenting the Icon Award.

View Story"What a pleasant surprise, my goodness!" Britney said as she took the stage. Spears then thanked Disney, “What can I say? This is such an honor! Your support throughout my career has meant so much to me.”
She then turns her gratitude to the fans, calling them “the freakin' best,” and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. "My two loves of my life, Jayden and Preston, my sons. You're the reason my heart beats, and I love you so much.”
The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards when they air Sunday, April 30 at 4 pm PT on Disney.
