The 2017 Met Gala goes down Monday night in NYC, and all eyes will be on the red carpet arrivals. The theme this year will honor Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo and "The Art of the In Between." This is the first time since 1983 that a living designer is subject of the fashion exhibit.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute hosts the annual event with Anna Wintour, who has been co-chair of the Met Gala since 1995. This year's co-chairs are Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen. Alongside the hosts, a slew of celebrities will be in attendance tonight, including Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Cindy Crawford, Rihanna and many more.
Comme des Garçons, known for its architectural and out-of-the-box runway collections, is sure to influence some must-see looks for this years' event.
