Fans of Marvel's Netflix shows got their first look Wednesday at what they've all been waiting for: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist teaming up in "The Defenders."

The first trailer (above) for the culmination of all four of the superhero's solo series features another familiar face, Stick (Scott Glenn), telling the crew, "The war for New York is here, so get your shit together."

Sigourney Weaver will be leading the charge for Team Bad Guys, who also appear to have a secret weapon: Elektra (Elodie Yung), another popular Marvel character who entered the scene in Season 2 of "Daredevil."

"Marvel's The Defenders" starts streaming on Aug. 18.

All previous solo seasons leading up to the show are currently streaming. Most of the heroes have been met with critical acclaim, with the exception of "Iron Fist," which was hammered by critics and fans alike for a number of reasons, including the casting a white male lead instead of an Asian actor, even though the superhero is white in the comics.
