Katy Perry set the record straight about reports her new single "Swish Swish" is about her infamous "Bad Blood" with Taylor Swift.

“Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon got right to the point when the Grammy nominee appeared on his show on Friday, asking if the track is “about anyone we know.”

“I think it’s a great anthem for people to use whenever someone’s trying to hold you down or bully you,” Perry cautiously answered.

“That’s kind of what this record is about,” Perry said. “It’s just, like, 360-degree liberation. ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ was this political liberation, ‘Bon Appétit’ was this sexual liberation and now I think this, ‘Swish,’ represents the liberation from all the negative that doesn’t serve you.”

The public feud between the two started when Taylor told Rolling Stone that her chart-topping single "Bad Blood" was about a fellow pop star who backstabbed her.

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour," Swift said back in 2014. "She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

Fans speculated Perry was the performer. Swift would not mention by name because the two have had the same dancers work on their tours.
