Hillary Clinton hasn't seen "Wonder Woman" yet, but she definitely wants to, because she sees some parallels between the movie and her own life.
"No, I haven't seen 'Wonder Woman' yet, but I'm going to, in part because it's directed by the fabulous Patty Jenkins," Clinton said in a video address at the Women in Film's Crystal + Lucy Awards on Tuesday. "But something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley."

Her quip about Wonder Woman was part of a presentation honoring actress, director and producer Elizabeth Banks with an award for Excellence in Film. Banks, who directed blockbuster comedy "Pitch Perfect 2," has been a active Clinton supporter for many years.

View StoryClinton has been on a comedic spree since being back in the media spotlight after her loss in the 2016 election. Most recently, the politician trolled Donald Trump when she made the commencement speech at her alma mater, Wellesley College.
Another former FLOTUS that made a video appearance at the event was Michelle Obama, who praised Excellence in Television award recipient Tracy Ellis Ross for her role in "Black-ish."
