Former "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky chimed in on the "Bachelor In Paradise" controversy, following news the show will continue despite the scandal with Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.
"I don't think Corinne should [return to the show]," the reality alum told TooFab while discussing her new campaign with Goodness Knows. "I don't think she should, because based on the statements, it seems like she feels there could have been some wrongdoing, so I think she needs to figure that out."
Warner Brothers confirmed the show would go back into production after an internal investigation concluded there was no evidence of "any charge of misconduct" by a cast member. The company also promised to "implement certain changes to the show's policies and procedures" going forward.
"I do think that reality TV is going to change a little bit," Fedotowsky said. "I don't know that necessarily what the viewers see is going to change too much, I mean maybe, but you know Warner Brothers I think also said in that statement that they were going to change things and take some steps to make sure they are doing everything they can to ensure the safety of the cast members."
'Bachelor in Paradise' Investigation Has Concluded And Show Will Resume Shooting in Mexico
View StoryFedotowsky first starred on "The Bachelor" in 2010 as she tried to win over Jake Pavelka's heart. After she chose her job at Facebook over staying on the show, she later returned as Season Six's "Bachelorette."
"In my experience on the show, the producers did everything they could to make me feel safe in every situation," she said. "Like if a guy was getting too close to me, I would talk to the producer before and be like, 'Look, if I make eye contact with you, you have to step in.' They were so good about doing that."
'Bachelor In Paradise' Stars Tie the Knot Amid Show Scandal
View StoryFedotowsky also said the only thing the producers ever encouraged her to do was fall in love.
"The number one goal of producers on that show is to make love connections and it's the truth and not because they are the most righteous people in the world, I mean they're great people, but because that's the point of the show," she explained. "It's a win-win situation. People fall in love and the show is most successful when the couples stay together."
One thing they don't encourage is an overindulgence on alcohol, she added.
"I mean, if you ask for a margarita, they're going to be bring you the whole margarita machine," she said. "But we're adults! Like if I go to a bartender and ask for a drink, I expect them to bring me one. But at the end of the day, I've never witnessed any wrongdoing or ever encouraging somebody to drink maybe when they shouldn't."
