Selma Blair has landed a recurring role on TV Land's "Heathers" series.
Blair took to Instagram to announce her role Thursday night, and even gave her followers a first look at her character -- a stepmother looks nothing short of wicked.
"Do I look like step Mother Theresa?" she captioned the photo.
Blair will play Jade, a character The Hollywood Reporter described as "a stripper menthol smoker who is rough around the edges, but with a bit of glamor to her. She's biding her time until her 82-year-old husband kicks the bucket."
The 10-episode series will reboot the 1988 movie of the same name, which starred Winona Ryder and Christian Sleter as Veronica and JD, teenage lovers that murder the popular clique at their high school. The television series will put a modern twist on the original film, while still catering to fans of the cult classic.
"Heathers" original cast member, Shannen Doherty is set to guest star as a "pivotal, unnamed character." Doherty also took to social media to brag about her role in the series with an Instagram post captioned, "Sneak peek from the #Heathers set..... jealous much?".
"Heathers" is set to air early 2018 on TV Land.
