So, what's behind Reza's makeover? He and Shouhed joked with TooFab that Saddam Hussein actually inspired the new look.
"Tell her the truth, Saddam Hussein called and said 'I want my look back, I'm tired of this shit, OK?" Shouhed jokingly explained.
"Bravo did a side-by-side of me and Saddam like 'Who wore it best?' and I lost so I was like, 'I have to shave,'" Farahan added sarcastically, before revealing the truth. "The 'stache kind of detracted from how fat my face was and by shaving it, I was like, 'Okay, I'm going to really get a sense of how fat I am.'"
And while Farahan shed his old look, Shouhed found himself starting anew this season too.
When his divorce from Jessica Parido became official, he quickly realized he needed to move out of the home they shared together. Luckily, Farahan swooped in to help him find and decorate his new space.
"I kind of just gave him the AMEX and said, 'Do what you want and let's do this' and that's why the house has so much color," Shouhed told TooFab of his new digs. "I'm not used to it."
Farahan insisted that Shouhed needed his creative touch since before he stepped in, Shouhed's entire house of furniture consisted of velcro. After Reza blew the budget on furniture, he thought his housewarming gift could be a nice piece of handmade art.
"[My inspiration is an] angry gay man coming out so it's kinda like a coming out process on the canvas, that's why it's all pink and it looks like it's running," he said. "It was almost like a signal to Mike, like you can finally come out of the closet now. No, I'm kidding. I just thought that it was a great pop of color, it was fun, I just had this idea and I went with it.”
