'Famously Single' Karina Smirnoff Blasts Chad Johnson as 'Self Absorbed' on Date (Exclusive Video)

The intense conversation begins when Chad Johnson awkwardly mentions during a date that he's scared of what would come if she falls for him, but he can't return her affection.

“It might go back to me more like, I don't wanna see a girl hurt like my mom was hurt,” the former "Bachelorette" contestant says in the clip (above). “My dad left her so the fact that I was like, 'What happens if I got to know you and then was like I don't like you.'”

Smirnoff takes her co-star's personal reflection as a sign that he is scared of rejection, but he insists it is the other way around.

“I'm scared of what would happen if you like me and I didn't like you.”

Physically taken back, Smirnoff shakes off Johnson's comments at “self absorbed” and stresses that he just doesn't know how to listen.

“You're not at a point yet where I'm gonna listen to you,” Johnson says. “Now we're at that point. We did this. But you weren't at that point, like all you did was shut me down and avoid me. I don't just meet a girl and immediately like, 'What do you want me to do?' Like what if I did that to every girl?”
