'Jersey Shore' TV Reunion First Look: Find Out Who's MIA

After the show had already been teased by the cast online, E! officially announced Friday that the one-off special "Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore" will air August 20.

Along with the first clip from the show (above), a synopsis for the event seems to confirm that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese and Angelina Pivarnik will all be MIA.

"Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore" reunites "Jersey Shore" cast members Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, Mike The Situation, and Sammi Sweetheart for an epic, fist-pumping drive down memory lane. The special will follow these outrageous friends as they come back together for the first time in five years to gossip about each other's relationships, recent press, juicy behind-the-scenes moments, and, most of all, talk about the pop culture hit that has bonded them forever.

The first footage shows Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi showing up at Pauly Delvecchio's pad to pick him up for the trip. And yes, there's a "Cab's here!" reference.

"I'm still all about that GTL lifestyle, except there's level to this now," Pauly explains. "Gym is now gym in my home, tanning is now spray tanning and laundry, now you send it out." The clip ends with Sorrentino saying he and Pauly haven't spoken in five years.

The special premieres August 20 at 9:30pm ET/PT.

The gang recently worked together on a Burger King commercial as well, with everyone but Ronnie and Angelina. At the time, Ronnie's rep told TooFab he was filming something on the West Coast and couldn't participate, but "would be excited and would love to be with his fellow castmates" if there were a future reunion.
