Jennifer Lawrence caught the ire of MAGA voters after an interview where she talked about hurricanes and climate change was interpreted as shade towards Donald Trump.
Speaking with England's Channel 4 News, the "mother!" star was asked about the "end of days" feeling in America and what she thinks about "the changes that have happened in your country over the last year or so?" (The talk comes around the 11:30 mark)
"It's scary. It's this new language that's forming. I don't even recognize it. It's also scary to know, it's been proven through science, that human activity … that climate change is due to human activity and we continue to ignore it and the only voice that we really have is through voting," she said.

View StoryWhen the reporter pointed out that Americans have already voted, Lawrence said "it was really startling."
"You're watching these hurricanes now and it's hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature's rage and wrath," she continued. Lawrence was then asked about the division in the country, which Lawrence called "polarizing and upsetting."
"I've heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick. It's just really confusing," she added. One thing she's not confused about is Trump himself, saying, "I don't find him confusing. I think I know exactly what he is."
While Lawrence never directly said Donald Trumps's victory was responsible for "Mother Nature's rage and wrath," that's how many interpreted the interview, including outlets like Fox News, The Washington Times, Refinery29, AP, USA Today and Breitbart.
After her interview started going viral online, Trump supporters started going in on the actress on social media:
