Ann Dowd won her first Emmy award Sunday night for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work in "The Handmaid's Tale" and while the 61-year-old was in total shock, Twitter was upset newcomer Chrissy Metz didn't take home the trophy.
"I'm crushed @ChrissyMetz didn't win at the #Emmys," one user wrote.
Dowd was up against Uzo Aduba for "Orange Is The New Black;" Millie Bobby Brown for "Stranger Things;" Samira Wiley for "The Handmaid's Tale;" Metz for "This Is Us" and Thandie Newton for "Westworld."
