"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Siggy Flicker shot down reports claiming that the cast demanded that Danielle Staub be completely edited out of Season 8 of the Bravo series after an old recording resurfaced allegedly featuring Staub using racial slurs.
"That is not true. That is not true," Flicker told TooFab Monday during a far-ranging interview about the upcoming season.
The 2015 audio footage published by a tabloid site features Staub calling her ex-boyfriend a "stupid f--king Mexican" in between dropping n-bombs.
Danielle Staub Returns In 'RHONJ' Season 8 Trailer and So Does the Crazy
View StoryFlicker said she didn't watch "RHONJ" prior to joining as cast member in Season 7 and wasn't intimately familiar with Staub's past drama with Teresa Giudice and the Manzos that led to the "prostitution whore" table flip heard around the world.
"As I was getting to know [Danielle] and getting to know her personality, some things were extremely shocking to me, but I can't go into detail over what or what unfolds, but some of the things to me were like, 'Oh, my God!'" Flicker told TooFab. "I don't listen to what other people say in my ear about other people. I judge people on my own. Danielle Staub has only been nice to me in the past, and I welcomed her with open arms. I think she's a fabulous edition. She's TV gold. But having said that, I might not always agree with everything Danielle Staub says or does."
