A movie theater full of fans expecting the new "Thor: Ragnarok" film were met with a big surprise when James Corden instead presented them with a live performance of the movie.
Complete with the main cast and Corden's own narration of events, the audience's confusion quickly turned into excitement as stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston took centerstage.
The rest of the actors, who were performing in what Corden referred to as "the future of 4D entertainment," included Cate Blanchett (Hela), Jeff Goldblum (The Grandmaster), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie).
The Late Late Show host seemed to be channeling a new type of "Crosswalk Theater" sketch with this live performance and the cast appeared to be enjoying it. Goldblum even sat down with the audience halfway through to enjoy some popcorn and watch the performance. At one point, he blurted out: "Oh, I remember this part in the movie."
