Frequent Donald Trump critic Gabrielle Union had plenty to say about the president's ongoing feud with LaVar Ball, father of one of the basketball players recently released from jail in China after being arrested for shoplifting.
The "Bring It On" star took to Twitter on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, to not give thanks for Trump's efforts to free the American college students, and instead cited his inflammatory comments and previous offenses.
I'm not thanking ANYONE who supports racism, sexism, bigotry, praises Nazis as "fine people" & sexually assaults over a dozen women & campaigns for a pedophile. Not. Gonna. Happen. #NoThanks

The latest online outburst from Trump was inspired by an interview with Ball, who said he did not need to personally thank Trump for helping get his son LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA basketball players out of China. "I had some things done, I talked to some people that did things too," Ball told CNN's Chris Cuomo.

View StoryTrump took these comments personally, tweeting, "It wasn't the White House, it wasn't the State Department, it wasn't father LaVar's so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence - IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man's version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It's a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!"
Union was one of many Hollywood types who saw these tweets as a new low for Trump, and didn't hesitate to argue with her followers about it.
One person remarked, "But the person did you a favor. He got your son out of jail. How hard is it to say a simple 'thank you'?" drawing the following response from Union:
He didn't do anything for Lavar Ball. He claimed to have helped his adult son. That adult son thanked him. Curious on your thoughts about Trump sexually assaulting over a dozen women though? You as pressed about that? https://t.co/hD5RiSfLWg

Gabrielle Union is straight-up correct. I don't know what you use for morals, ethics & values, but no decent person supports a pussy-grabbing, draft-dodging con artist & Russian TRAITOR who endorses pedophiles & thinks Nazis are “fine people”. #TrumpRussia #GOPMoralSwamp pic.twitter.com/UAsX6JJba1
