JoJo Romeo Refuses to 'Work for Free' in Sneak Peek at 'Real Estate Wars' (Exclusive)

On Thursday's episode of the series, Michael makes a surprising announcement regarding his luxury portfolio while JoJo Romeo and Spyro Kemble take a surprising step toward securing a new client.

"From the first time I was in this room, having John here competing with me, that was strange to begin with," JoJo tells Michael in the clip below. "We can go round and round and round and talk about how screwed up that situation got, but at the end of the day, I can't work for free."

"I never asked you to work for free," Michael replies. "And again, this was about a relationship, and the fact that this home was challenging -- it was supposed to be challenging. That's why I gave it to you."

JoJo says she's "proud" of the job she did on the property in question and explains her issue with Michael is when he said to her, "What can you do for me?"

"I called the agent and I said, look, the only way this deal's gonna come together is if you pay for his closing costs," JoJo says. "So guess what? I got you that money."

She then breaks down the numbers for Michael, saying the commission deduction came to $26,980 and that marketing costs were $13,000.

"I would literally be paying you to do this deal," she says.

"Keep in mind, I'm not somebody off the streets, so I know the cost of marketing and all that," Michael fires back, adding that she's "not going to get rich off one deal."
