"It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be," Jax said of watching back the explosive episode. "I was really nervous today. I really was, which I should be, but like I said, I deserve all this. I don't care if you drag me through the mud. I just want to make sure Brittany's OK."
During the show, Brittany's mom, Sherri Cartwright, tweeted at Jax, asking, "Jax, what makes you think you can be faithful to my daughter now?"
"It has been a few months, well, seven months since this happened," he said. "We're working through it. It's a work in progress. I love her very much."
Jax said he's "absolutely" been faithful to Brittany since the incident took place seven months ago and added that their relationship is "stronger now than it's actually ever been."
"At the end of the day, this is Brittany and I's relationship," he said. "She's a big girl."
When a caller asked Jax what he felt he's bettered about himself since the cheating scandal, he said, "I just think in the beginning I was taking Brittany for granted. I don't think I appreciated her as much as I do."
"We're in a great place right now," he added. "I hope it stays that way, but it's a work in progress. Nobody's perfect. My life just happens to be on TV."
"I've heard that 'work in progress' speech a few times from you, Jax," host Andy Cohen pointed out, also mentioning that Jax cheated on Brittany two years into their relationship, which would discredit Jax's claim that he took her for granted "in the beginning."
Fans then weighed in on whether Jax deserved Brittany, and only 3 percent of voters said he did.
