Sugar Bear and new wife Jennifer seek legal advice and are met with more than a few barriers. For starters, he was never legally declared Alana's father. "If you've not been declared her legal father, you have no rights to her," his attorney told him. "You have just as much rights to her as I do."
He's not looking to fight June for custody, but rather just wants weekend visitation rights so he can see his daughter. What neither he nor his wife realize, apparently, is that with the involvement of the courts over visitation, child support becomes an issue as well.
Sugar Bear is pretty chill about the whole thing, telling Jennifer, "I'm not worried about it right now. I'll figure it out when that time gets here."
But Jennifer was not at all about giving money to her husband's ex-wife. "We can't even finish saving up for our honeymoon, so how are we going to pay child support?" she asks him.
When Sugar Bear assures her that they'd worry about that when the time comes, Jennifer puts her foot down. "We're not dipping into our honeymoon fund," she says.
Jennifer's concerns are more than financial, though, as the trailer for this second season of the WE tv reality hit shows she also has some uncertainties about Sugar Bear being Alana's father at all.
Elsewhere in this week's episode, June gets a shock of her own in the form of an unplanned pregnancy, while she and Alana continue working toward her own beauty pageant dreams. Alana has plenty of practice thanks to her tine on TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras," but there's just one problem: June has no talent.
"Mama June: From Not to Hot" airs Friday night at 9pm ET on WE tv.
