The Millennium Falcon is back in action and with a new/old crew in the first full trailer for this summer's "Solo: A Star Wars Story."
Fans finally got their first extended look at the new Han Solo, along with Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, the return of Chewbacca, and the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke as the mysterious Qi'ra. The shots of the four of them in the cockpit of the Falcon trying to escape the forces of evil harkens back to Han, Luke, Leia and Chewie in the original "Star Wars" in the best way possible.

The trailer opens with gritty scenes of life in the gutters, offering us a new vantage point of what life is like in the "Star Wars" universe, and a good idea of why the Empire might be appealing to someone like Han Solo. There are still a lot of uncertainties as to how his origins might unfold -- though Extended Universe fans are holding out hope some of their favorite Solo elements might make the cut.
Fans will want to know how he came to meet Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca, and how he came to be the captain of the Millennium Falcon. Now they'll also want to know what happened to Qi'ra, as she looks like another badass female character for the "Star Wars" universe to explore, and she was gone by "Episode IV."

View StoryThe bottom line is that the movie looks like a fun action caper story, making it the first "Star Wars Story" that's less about the stakes of the universe than it is about character development and exploration. It's a big test for Disney and Lucasfilm to see if audiences will embrace it, but they couldn't have picked a more beloved character to explore than Han.
