Hollywood Continues to Beat Gun Reform Drum in Wake of Parkland Florida Shooting

"This is on you Donald Trump -- your kids are safe. These kids are dead," Julianne Moore tweets after the Parkland, Florida shooting.

A day after the Parkland, Florida shooting left 17 dead when a gunman open fired in a high school, Hollywood is continuing to beat the #GunReformNow drum.

"Fix the DAMN GUN LAWS," Marlon Wayans tweeted after Republican congressman Paul Ryan blamed mental health as the "big problem" in America.

Miley Cyrus added, "It MUST stop," along with a meme reading, "Yesterday was the time to do something about gun violence."

"I hope all of our representatives know that the American people expect them to work the will of the people," Reese Witherspoon tweeted. "We need gun safety laws. NOW. Republicans/Democrats. This is not about partisan politics. It's about our children & communities & we will vote for people who care about US."

A gunman -- identified as former student Nikolas Cruz -- opened fire Wednesday inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, resulting in "numerous fatalities." At least 17 people were killed making the tragedy the third deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. Cruz, who opened fire with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, has been released from the hospital and is now in custody.

After it was announced Thuesday that Amy Schumer got married, she encouraged fans to donate to EveryTown, an organization who works to end gun violence and build safer communities, as a wedding gift.
