Luann de Lesseps is now able to joke about her December 2017 arrest -- and she proved it at the debut of her #CountessAndFriends cabaret show in New York City on Tuesday night.
The "Real Housewives of New York" star reportedly told the audience -- which included current and former co-stars, Sonja Morgan and Kelly Bensimon -- that she "had a list of songs but had to reconsider 'Jailhouse Rock,'" jokingly referencing her arrest in Palm Beach, Florida, on Christmas Eve where she was charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and threatening a public servant.

View StoryAlthough Luann pleaded not guilty to the charges (her hearing is set for April), she voluntarily checked herself into an alcohol treatment center after her arrest. "I fought the law and the law won," Luann reportedly told the crowd. "Crazy for thinking I could get out of those handcuffs."
"Not drinking is exhausting," she added. "Getting up at six and going to my meetings and to yoga and then filming 'Housewives' -- I'm dead by 10 o'clock. I'm wiped out. I'm exhausted. And usually, I'm just starting at the Regency at that time."

Luann recently told The New York Times that she's currently attending AA meetings and has quit smoking. "I can't avoid the whole story of what happened to me in Palm Beach. I'm trying to keep it light while also taking it seriously," she told the publication about her cabaret show.
