Nikki Bella and John Cena continue to communicate to each other via TV interviews after calling off their wedding.
The "Total Bellas" star appeared alongside her sister Brie Bella on "TODAY" this morning, after her ex professed his love to her despite their split on the same show earlier this week. "I still love Nicole, I still would love to marry Nicole, I still would love to have a family with Nicole," he said on Monday, a comment Nikki reacted to with shock.

View Story"I was so shocked. I literally was in the middle of the red carpet for the NBC upfront and got the breaking news," she explained to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. "John is absolutely an amazing man, he's such a sweetheart, and I truly love him so much. He's my best friend. But I think, a lot of us that go though the wedding process, we kind of have to face ... we're forced to face these issues we have hiding deep down inside and I just know that a healthy me will be a healthy us."
"I do have hope for our future, but I know right now I need to work on me and before I do say those vows and walk down that aisle, I don't want to be hesitant, I don't want to be regretful," she continued. "I think when you sacrifice for so long, it's like, you can give so much and you kind of get tired of giving and someone wants to give it back and you just already feel exhausted."
"I definitely have hope, I really do," Nikki added.
Brie also chimed in on her sister's situation, expressing love for Cena as well. "For me, I love both of them and I applaud them for putting their relationship out there,: she said. "It's really hard when you're filming a reality show. We're open books, we have no filters ... it just shows other women out there, you're not alone. Cold feet really exist."
"John's my brother, I text him all the time. I love him, he's a great man, I love them both together," she added.
The interview comes as E! dropped a brand new trailer for their reality show, "Total Bellas," which hints at their split.
In the clip, Nikki is seen trying on wedding dresses and tearfully telling Cena, "I'm just starting to feel so suffocated." "I'm not sure we should go through with this," he tells her. Her reaction: "So we really wanna call this off?"
The trailer ends with John saying, "You have fallen out of love with me," as Nikki replies, "I just want to be a mom."
"Total Bellas" premieres Sunday, May 20 at 9pm on E!
