In the absence of a new episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" over the holiday weekend, AMC has released the first three minutes of the next episode, and it picks up right after a major character got shot in the closing moments of last week's episode.
Now fans don't have to wait a whole 'nother week to find out if John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) survives being shot by Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). Well, sort of.

Here's to tense "family" reunions when "Fear the Walking Dead" returns next Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
