The two, who have been married since 2014 and share two children together, will star on E!'s upcoming "Ashlee+Evan," with a trailer for the six-episode series dropping online Tuesday morning.
The clip kicks off with a producer asking Ross how he'd describe his wife. "Ashlee's super talented, she's had an incredible career," he answers, before later ribbing her on whether she even knows which movies he's starred in. For the record, his film resume includes two "Hunger Games" films, "ATL" and "Pride."
The series will focus on the two as they work on their first duet album together, an idea which likely leads to Simpson saying to her husband, "You've never done this before and if you make a mistake, you can never f--king take that back," in the preview.
Simpson is no stranger to reality shows. She appeared on her sister Jessica Simpson's series "Newlyweds," as well as her two-season show at MTV "The Ashlee Simpson Show" from 2004-2005.
"Ashlee+Evan" premieres September 9 with an hour-long episode, with five subsequent half-hour installments.
