The works of Stephen King collide in the upcoming Hulu series "Castle Rock," which dropped a brand new trailer on Tuesday morning.
With "Carrie" star Sissy Spacek, "It" child star Chosen Jacobs and Pennywise himself, Bill Skarsgård, already announced as cast members for the show -- which takes place in the town referenced in many of the author's books -- the King references were already there. The new trailer, however, throws in even more.

View StorySkarsgård's character mysteriously appears in a cage inside Shawshank prison, the setting of "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption," before he's seemingly moved to the Juniper Hill Asylum, which once housed "It" bad boy Henry Bowers and the crypt-robbing Space Cowboy from "Gerald's Game." The hospital is named in many of King's works.
There's even a quick shot of a newspaper reading, "Rabid Dog Tears Through Town," a clear reference to "Cujo."
The series premieres Wednesday, July 25 on Hulu and also stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn. Check out the official synopsis from Hulu below:
A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King's literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller -- a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.
